Is it possible to use these wind turbines without a battery bank. No it is not possible to operate them without a battery bank unless you are connecting straight to the national grid. The battery bank acts like a buffer or sponge absorbing spikes in the power supply which would damage your inverter or appliances if the battery bank wasn't there.
Can I add extra sections to a wind turbine tower to get more height?
We DO NOT RECOMMEND that you do this. If you want to buy extra sections of tower, we will supply them at extra cost, but it is your own responsability to ensure the work is safe.
If the tower is extended your turbine warranty will be invalid as the turbines are only designed to survive wind speeds at the designed tower height.
